About the Journal
The Brazilian Medical Students Journal (BMS), founded by the International Federation of Medical Students Associations of Brazil (IFMSA Brazil), is an open access electronic scientific journal of the diamond type, published and edited annually by an editorial board composed of students and faculty in the health field, reflecting the vision and objectives of the academic community. Committed to the principles of Open Science, the journal actively promotes the dissemination of scientific knowledge, encouraging transparency and free access to research results.
Mission
The mission of BMS is to disseminate relevant and innovative knowledge in the various areas of medicine, with a special emphasis on Public Health and Global Health.
