About the Journal

The Brazilian Medical Students Journal (BMS), founded by the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations of Brazil (IFMSA Brazil), is an open-access electronic scientific journal, and with continuous publication divided into two editions per year. Free and with continuous flow, it is edited by an editorial board comprised of students and health professionals, reflecting the vision and objectives of the student community. BMS reaffirms its commitment to advancing Open Science and is actively dedicated to fostering the dissemination of research findings, thereby encouraging the practice of scientific transparency.
